Nestled in the heart of the South End, Mesob is an Eritrean and Ethiopian restaurant born from a deep love of food, culture, and community. The name Mesob comes from the traditional woven basket that holds shared meals — a cherished symbol of togetherness, generosity, and heritage. That same spirit fills every corner of our restaurant, from the care we put into each dish to the warmth with which we welcome every guest as part of our extended family.

Our story

Three images of Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine. The first shows a plate with injera topped with greens and spicy dish. The second displays a traditional Habesha meal setup with various dishes, bowls, and flowers on a wooden surface.
